For many people, a trip to the Caribbean is one of the basic
'dreams' alongside going to Disneyworld. What many don't realize
is that a trip to the West Indies is not as expensive as one
might think. Whether it's the Bahamas or one of the Antilles

The Bahamas
When you talk about the Caribbean, this is the island that comes

experience the Caribbean without being like everyone else and
just going to the Bahamas. The Greater Antilles consists of
Cuba, Jamaica, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico.
While Cuba isn't a popular destination for many, Jamaica is
another typical destination for those seeking a Caribbean
getaway.
Caribbean Cruises
Another popular option for some people is the Caribbean Cruise,
usually an all inclusive package that covers travel to many
different islands in the Caribbean, offering people a chance to
taste all of the Caribbean life. Sometimes, this can even be
less expensive than a trip to just one of the islands like
Jamaica. With so much to explore, it's no secret why these are
so popular and often the top prize for contests. People love
Caribbean cruises, and they don't have to be expensive.
Caribbean Connoisseur
While you may not know much about the history of the Caribbean,
this doesn't take away from your ability to enjoy this little
slice of heaven on Earth. It's a different world in the
Caribbean and the connoisseur knows that there's too much to
explore in just a week. While you may not be able to finish
seeing everything in the Caribbean in one trip, a series of
trips over the course of several years could have you exploring
options of retiring in the region. Even those who only visit
once are affected by the island way of life.
